Snowflake Sprint 2010
This past Sunday I participated in my second 5K. The Snowflake Sprint was held right here in Morgantown and sponsored by the Morgantown Roadrunners Running Club to benefit Mon County Girls on the Run. Although it was a bit chilly it was a beautiful day for a race.
I am happy to say I improved my time over my last 5K. I finished 80th out of 135 with an overall time of 33:49, which was a 10:54 pace. I was 6th in my class (40-44). This was an improvement over my previous 5K time by 2.8 minutes and I shaved almost a minute off my pace. Looking forward to the next one.
