It had been rainy and cold all day and by the time I was able to go for my run it was dark. So, I decided to make a trip across town to the WVUH Wellness Program Fitness Center to run on the treadmill.
As per my usual routine I started my C25K podcast on my iPod and started the Runmeter App to track my progress. It only took me a few seconds to realize that I wasn't going to get any usable data since the app works via GPS and I was basically running in place. I'm glad I didn't go through my entire run and post the results to this blog. I can just image the comments I'd have gotten.
Today's run (Week 5 Day 3) consisted of a five minute warm up walk followed by eight minutes of running, a five minute walk, another eight minute run and a five minute cool down walk.
I'm making progress and am looking forward to running my first race.
