Turkey Trot 2010
Ran my first Turkey Trot today in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Proceeds benefited the local Salvation Army. I finished at 36:29 with a pace of 11:44 per mile. I was very pleased with my pace and time since this was my first 5K.
I'm thankful for my friend Cindy who also ran. She took first place in her age division then ran back to push me through to the finish. I'm also thankful for my son going along to be my cheering section and photographer.
While I didn't win any awards at the race I received the best one when I got home.
